In the past 36 hours, certain parts of Odisha have already experienced pre-monsoon showers. The rainfall intensity is expected to increase significantly, with heavy to very heavy rain anticipated in many places starting from tomorrow. Keeping this in mind, the weather center has issued a yellow warning for several districts, alerting residents to potential heavy rain and its associated impacts for the next three days.

While no heatwave alerts have been issued for coastal and interior regions of Odisha, certain parts of western Odisha will continue to experience heatwave conditions. As the monsoon progresses, the oppressive heat that has been persistent in those areas will gradually subside, bringing much-needed relief to the affected regions.
